Earlier this week ASUS launched the Zenfone 2 and we were able to get our hands on this brand new smartphone that costs less than $300 outright. Yes, we are talking $299.00 unlocked smartphone here that doesn't require a contract that will work on the AT&T and T-Mobile carrier networks here in the United States (Sprint and Verizon are not supported). While the price tag on this device might be less than half of the price of a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and Apple iPhone 6 Plus, the specifications of Zenfone 2 look pretty damn good! Read on to find out more about the phone and to see how it performs!

Samsung is attempting to position its laptop products a bit higher, for example with the new ATIV series for all of its Windows products. These include tablets, laptops and smartphones. The first two ATIV Books we're testing are two models from the 7 series, previously known as Chronos.

Since the release of the Note 2 Samsung have continued to enhance the Galaxy range with the S4, increasing the specification of their flagship model and enhancing the software features too. With that phone well established in the market it was time to refresh the Note series and today that is the focus of our review, the Galaxy Note 3.

The Razer Blade (or New Razer Blade as we are now on a second revision) is a high end Ultrabook aimed at gamers. With a mobile i7 CPU, GeForce GTX 600 series graphics and a unique touch screen track pad it offers something that little bit different to the norm. Today we put it through a selection of real world tests including Crysis 3 and StarCraft 2 Heart of the Swarm.

Today for review I’ve got another inexpensive phone from Verizon, it’s an Android phone running version 2.1 and it’s from Motorola. The Citrus is meant to be basic and it is, it’s small and compact but yet it gets the job done. The Citrus features a touchpad on the back called Backtrack that can be used for navigation if the user wishes instead of the normal touch screen. What really makes the Citrus special is that it’s green, it’s made from 25% recycled plastic an the packaging is eco-friendly as well.

So which one out of these three should you get? It's difficult to say. Disregarding the software we would lean towards the HTC 8S, but its relatively high price makes the Lumia 620 more interesting. And should the Huawei Ascend W1 really become available for that low price, then that is also an excellent choice in this segment.

The Taichi 31 is a unique product, and a successful one at that. It has two screens, one of which is a touchscreen, and the performance of this tablet/laptop is good. For most people the tablet screen will likely be nothing more than a cool gimmick, but for giving presentations on the road it can be a pretty useful feature. And it's nice that you always have a keyboard and touchpad handy.

Recently Nokia have had somewhat of a makeover and having received the Lumia 710 all the nostalgic memories of the good times I had with Nokia came flooding back. So I am slowing things down with the Samsung Galaxy S2 and going with the Nokia Lumia 710 for a while, seeing how things work out... running on Windows Phone 7.5 Mango, who could resist?
