Today for review I’ve got the very stylish and thin HP ProBook 5310m notebook PC. This is one of the thinnest full laptops I’ve ever seen truly, and it’s also lightweight. It’s mostly aluminum giving it durability and good looks as well. The performance isn’t bad, I’ve put it up against a few netbooks and a regular laptop for comparison and the ProBook performs admirably well. So can one be in love with a notebook? I think I am, and the main reason is the touch screen that it has. Today for review I’ve got the Acer Aspire AS5738PG-6306 Notebook that features a nice large 15.6” touch screen with a resolution of 1366×768. Inside you’ll find a Core2Duo T6600 CPU along with an ATI 4570 graphics card and it’s also got 4 gigs of DDR2 ram. You’ll also find a very nice set of Dolby virtual surround sound speakers that round this notebook off nicely as a portable media centric laptop. The main feature of course is the touch screen and I absolutely love it, it makes using the computer so much easier and a lot more fun. Today for review I’ve got the MSI Wind12 U230 netbook, it’s called a netbook but it really isn’t it could really be considered an ultra-portable notebook as it does have an AMD Athlon Neo X2 CPU in it, along with ATI HD 3200 Graphics. It’s much more powerful than the netbooks we’ve become accustomed to, but the price is a little bit more than other netbooks, but not as much as you might expect. In my time with the Wind12 I’ve come to like it quite a bit, it has a nice large keyboard that’s makes typing easy and enjoyable. The dual core CPU does allow you to do many things at once without the system slowing down, as far as graphics, it does do HD content and it has an HDMI port as well, but don’t expect to be playing games on high settings.
