Today on our test bench we have the latest model in CM Storms Sentinel mouse range, the Sentinel Advance 2. We have reviewed both the original Sentinel Advance mouse (back in 2009) and the follow up released in 2011 called the Z3RO-G. We rated both highly and so we were very interested in getting our hands on the latest model.

We take a look at the Roccat Savu; a mid-sized Gaming Mouse, with a rather unusual feature that gives the mouse an element of fun.

Roccat has provided us with some wonderful PC peripherals and today we're going to be looking at the Roccat Isku. The Roccat Isku is an illuminated gaming keyboard, which features as many as 36 programmable macro keys, on the fly profile switching and backlit keys. Backlit with ROCCAT Extreme Ice Blue Lighting in 6 adjustable brightness levels, the Isku makes it easy to always hit the right key -- even in low lighting. The Isku’s optimized illumination also means it’s perfect for avoiding eye strain during those long gaming sessions.

If you’ve ever seen any of Cyborg’s mice you know they look nothing like anything else out there. The only way to really describe them is to say they look like something a cyborg would use or a transformer. I was always skeptical about the Cyborg mice, I mean yeah they look awesome, but are they actually comfortable? Well I can say after using the Cyborg M.M.O. 7 Gaming Mouse for quite a while now it is the most comfortable mouse I have used and I couldn’t imagine using another mouse ever again. Besides being comfortable it features a 13 programmable buttons, a true 6400 DPI ‘Twin-Eye’ laser sensor, dual ActionLock buttons, a custom weight system and much more. Read on as we check out this truly unique gaming mouse!

Savu is a mid-sized mouse that may not be very suitable for people with big hands, built from quality materials and offers no-sweat rough plastic side grips for maximum precision in games. It features an adjustable 4000DPI Pro-Optic (R3) gaming sensor, with adjustable polling rate up to 1000Hz, Teflon feet for minimum friction and a 1.8m braided USB cable. A total of 4 buttons can be remapped (left and right mouse buttons, the scroll wheel button and one lateral), the fifth having Easy-Shift [+] functionality, meant to double the mappings for the programmable buttons.

Now Razer have a new Naga to launch, the 2012 edition which takes the base design and tweaks it to offer a similar, but different user experience for those who are not as keen on the soft touch coating of the original... or indeed its size and shape.
