Do you remember that complicated programs used to come with "keyboard overlays". I remember the old WordPerfect function key overlays, which were really more of a reference-sheet than a quick guide. Complex games with lots of functions (like MMOs) had keyboard overlays, and some keyboards like the Z-board had custom skins for popular games. If you could change the key to be an icon then there would be no need to memorize which command corresponded to which key.

When I think of a notebook computer, I typically envision it out and about with its owner, whether it be in a coffee shop, on an airplane, in a hotel room or at the office. Perhaps this is because I own a desktop and spend the majority of my computing time on it. But the fact of the matter is that there are many people that use their notebooks around the house to listen to music, surf the web, chat, check email and watch movies. I even know a few people who rely on a notebook as their only computer. Logitech is targeting users just like this with their newly released Speaker Lapdesk N700.

Today we will be checking out the latest addition to Microsoft's PC gaming peripheral line - the Sidewinder X4. This keyboard is designed to be the economy model for gamers. About a year ago we reviewed the Sidewinder X6 and now we will check out its little brother. Unlike other Microsoft gaming products this keyword is entirely designed by the folks at Redmond. The Microsoft Sidewinder X4 looks like a basic keyboard with the addition of media and macro keys. The Sidewinder X4 is missing some knobs and buttons found on its bigger brother the X6 but should still has plenty of features to hold its own.

Today for review I’ve got the Samsung SyncMaster 2233SW. It’s a relatively low priced monitor from Geeks.com. It features a nice high contrast ratio, HD 1080 resolution and a relatively low refresh rate at 5ms. These things combine for a very nice viewing experience overall.

Razer are one of those big companies that have been in the gaming peripheral market for quite a long stretch, so it's always with some excitement that we crack open a box of one of their latest products. Let's see how it gets on in the hand of this claw handed reviewer.

ASUS are certainly no strangers to the TweakTown test labs with many hugely triumphant products over the years. One of the best of the best in terms of those products comes in the shape of the Xonar line of soundcards, which I have of course tested my fair share of with much resulting admiration for the manor in which these quite glamorous soundcards were presented to me.
