Ever since i can remember myself i never actually used headsets while playing games and watching movies, not because i don't like using them (i do when i listen to music sometimes) but mainly due to the fact that regular complete surround speaker systems (5.1/6.1/7.1) sound a lot better especially if you don't have to care about annoying someone in the process (don't ever place your computer system in the bedroom). The DPI setting can be changed by holding down the left side button and scrolling the wheel. The color of the NZXT logo changes to indicate your setting. Blue indicates 1600 dpi, purple is 800 dpi, and red is 400 dpi. All in all, the NZXT Avatar S is a pleasure to use and performs as advertised. It feels very precise and the ergonomics are top-notch.
