The new Quiet Pro keyboard from Matias impresses with it's newly designed switches, which produce less noise, maintain a tactile feedback and is equipped with anti-ghosting capabilities. Being a keyboard designed for Mac computers, the key functions are optimized for this platform and common/uncommon symbols are also drawn on the keycaps (which are laser-cut) for easier access.

A great headset will change the way you think about sound. It all started when I upgraded to a Sapphire Radeon 7970. As it turns out, this dual-slot graphics card extended just enough to prevent the installation of my aftermarket sound card in the only remaining PCI slot. The Razer Carcharias headset I was using just didn't sound the same with onboard sound, so it was off to find another solution - so I returned the 7970 and all was good. HA! Like any of us here at Benchmark Reviews would miss out on a perfectly valid chance to upgrade... Truth be told, I still felt like something was missing in my computing experience, so I set out to find another headset that would enhance the audio I enjoy - a worthy compliment to the enhanced visuals afforded by the Radeon 7970. That brings us to the Logitech G930 Wireless Gaming Headset - ladies and gentlemen, lend me your ears...

While I’m typing these lines the upcoming Wing Commander/Freelancer/Privateer/Starlancer type Squadron 42/Star Citizen crowd-funded game has now officially breached the $4.500.000 line and is heading towards $5.000.000 at full speed so i really think that congratulations are in order for Chris Roberts, his crew and of course each and every single person out there who supported this game from even before the launch date (and of course everyone after that), whether it is just by spreading the word or by pledging either in the RS page or on KS (my thanks go to all regardless). This review however does not revolve around games or anything related with games since for the past month or so quite a few people have asked for a review of the latest Bluetooth wireless headset by Plantronics to hit the market called the Voyager Legend and of course we obliged.

You don't need me to tell you how big the gaming scene is these days, with the ever growing popularity of online gaming, competitive multiplayer games and e-sports all giving us more and more reasons to play online. With that comes a big demand from gamers for reliable and affordable peripherals, such as gaming headsets like the one we're looking at today from Tritton.

There are headsets that are nice for listening to music, and then there are headsets specifically designed to enhance the gaming experience. Genius presents the GX-Gaming Cavimanus 7.1 channel corded Headset and takes pro gaming audio to a whole new plateau. The Cavimanus has combined a high quality neodymium 40mm sound driver, with a well calibrated vibration feature that provides incredible explosive bass that sounds like its coming from a sub woofer. With a mid-range retail price point of $64.99, Benchmark Reviews will analyze the Cavimanus (HS-G700V) for quality, performance, and value.

It's been a while since we had a Roccat product come through the eTeknix office, but some of you may recall the stunning Roccat Savu which we reviewed back in July, which earned itself our eTeknix Innovation Award. Today however we have something a little more unique and special from Roccat, the Kone XTD gaming mouse is a serious piece of gaming equipment and comes with a price tag of around £70-80 (prices from Google shopping).

Just over two years ago, we took a look at GIGABYTE’s first keyboard to fall into its “Aivia” gamer line, the K8100. At the time, we were happy with what was delivered, and looked forward to what the future could bring. Now, it’s time to see what’s been accomplished in those two years, with the mechanical “Osmium”.

Just like other computer peripheral makers, Genius has a special brand for gaming-grade products with more advanced features. The company releases the DeathTaker mouse geared towards the MMORPG/RTS crowd that is to say, its main feature is recording macros. The DeathTaker reaches 5,700 dpi of resolution, and it features nine configurable buttons (eight regular buttons plus the scroll wheel itself) and an ingenious weight adjustment system. We'll analyze its performance after we describe the product.

Roccat’s gaming mouse portfolio sees the newest leader to its flagship series. Can the 8200 DPI-capable Kone XTD prove that it deserves to sit at the summit of Roccat’s critically acclaimed mouse catalogue?

There are many different aspects to an enjoyable computer experience, and one of the foremost of those is input devices. The right mouse or keyboard can make or break a game, cause the death of a boss, or the death of your party, make your headshot across the map, or end up with you staring at a respawn timer. Cooler Master recently released their Storm Recon mouse, as well as the Skorpion mouse bungee. The ambidextrous Storm Recon boasts many different bells and whistles, and here at Benchmark Reviews, we will put both items through their paces.
