Today on our test bench we will be looking at two new products from ROCCAT. Firstly we have a brand new mid-range gaming mouse, the Savu. Featuring a unique 4000DPI optical sensor and ROCCAT's Easy-Shift[+] system the Savu looks to set new standards in its price bracket.
We will also be taking a look at the Taito gaming mouse pad. The Taito comes in three sizes, the mini, mid and king and is also available in two heights, 3mm or 5mm. We have the mid-sized 5mm version to test with the new Savu mouse.

Roccat has firmly cemented itself as a big player in the gaming peripheral market – no mean feat. It did so in a similar fashion to Razer: making comfortable, sensitive rodents that were good to look at too. This latest iteration of Roccat mousey hardware however focuses on something else, sweat reduction. Adding bumpy plastic grips to the sides, preventing perspiration buildup and slips could let this piece of kit fit nicely into a niche. Then again, perhaps it will reduce comfortability? That’s a great new word.

Many gamers have heard of the company Roccat before as it is a gaming accessory company based out of Europe. They have been bringing their high end products to the USA for a few years now. One of their big sellers was their ISKU gaming keyboard which had many different macro combinations you were able to utilize thanks to the Easy Shift[+] Zones they incorporated to the keyboard along with the Thumbster keys. Now that Rocact has moved into mechanical keyboards and they have used the ISKU platform and changed a few things around and tossing in some Cherry MX Black switches which lead to the birth of the Roccat Ryos MK Glow keyboard.
