In the world of gaming mice brand names such as Steel Series, Logitech, Rocatt and Razer reign supreme. When we were offered a sample from a company called Shogun Bros we immediately thought of a cool new oriental themed Nintendo game.
Peripherals
For the last couple of days I have been spending my evening gaming and putting the Ballista MK-1 gaming mouse from Shogun Bros through its paces. Until a few weeks ago I had never even heard of Shogun Bros and give that the gaming peripheral is somewhat dominated by a few big brands it can be hard for another name to squeeze through. Yet a quick look online has shown that products like the Ballista and other products from Shogun Bros have been getting a lot of attention and a lot of love from both review media and the gaming community, so what is all the fuss about?

Today we are going to look at the Sharkoon X-Tatic Digital Surround Sound Headset. Aside from being compatible with all PCs which feature multi-channel audio, it is fully compatible with both PS3 and XBOX.
Peripherals
When you first think of Sharkoon, the first thought that would come to mind would generally be fans. When you delve a little bit deeper into their product ranges, you'll be pleasantly surprised to see that they cater for a number of markets, gaming headsets being one of them. The current market for headsets is fiercely competitive and so any new comers to the area have got a huge mark to step up to.
Peripherals
Sharkoon may not be a brand that you immediately associate with gaming headsets; they are better known for their golf ball style fans. But they have been producing headsets for a while now and currently have nine different models in their lineup. These range from budget-friendly stereo headsets to full-fat 5.1 digital surround sound ones.
Peripherals
In the not so distant past, we took a look at the X-Tatic SX stereo headset from manufacturer Sharkoon and whilst we thought it was a great product, it wasn't compatible with a well known platform. This is of course the PlayStation 3. The SX headset was a prime candidate for PC usage as well as Xbox 360, especially with its Xbox styling in white and green, but for PS3 users they would have to look around for something else.
Peripherals
Sharkoon, similar to Speedlink, are a German peripherals company who produce a number of different bits of hardware, both internal and external. Today, we are looking at a multi-purpose gaming headset, which is compatible with the PC, PS3 and XBox 360: the Sharkoon X-Tatic SP.
Peripherals
Sharkoon have a new headset out called the X-Tatic S7 and today we see what they have done with it.
Peripherals
