On our test bench we have three new products from Razer, all based on a licence with Blizzard to tie them in with StarCraft 2. The Marauder keyboard, Spectre mouse and Banshee headset feature styling which is completely different to anything else Razer offer and each is designed with StarCraft 2 players and fans in mind. Do they reach Razer's usual standard of quality? Today we find out and the results are quite surprising...

When you are shopping for a gaming keyboard what features are at the forefront of your mind? If you are looking for LED backlit keys, an LCD display or macro keys then you won't find them here. Benchmark Reviews brings you the SteelSeries 7G mechanical Gaming Keyboard. SteelSeries have taken a much different approach to the gaming market with their first mechanical gaming keyboard, by bringing durability and quality in the form of individual 18k gold plated mechanical switches and an inner metal chassis to bring to you one heavyweight keyboard. I can't say for sure if this keyboard is an IBM Model M killer because I dont own one of those, but if this keyboard lasts anywhere near as long as some of those Model M's have lasted then it will be a very worthy investment indeed...

Usually when a Gran Turismo hits the market, there is a number of controller companies clinging onto the game and releasing a number of new peripherals for gamers to choose from. The release of Gran Turismo 5 has been no different with a number of new wheels in development and releasing soon. However, perhaps the biggest surprise with the GT5 release is the introduction of a new PS3 controller which is licensed by HKS. The fact it's licensed by HKS isn't what makes it unique, though; instead it's the actual control scheme which makes it a lot more suitable for racing games.

The Psyko 5.1 Headset sets its sights for FPS gamers and nails a bull’s eye. Psyko Audio took a new approach to 5.1 audio and nail it as they offer the best positional audio I have heard in a 5.1 headset. The Psyko 5.1′s are bulky but are balanced well so neck fatigue is minimized and vented ear cups help with long gaming sessions or keeping aware of your surroundings.

GIGABYTE is making waves in a whole lot of computer component segments. Mostly known for their motherboards and video cards, the company has been branching out into a ton of new sectors lately. The gaming centered peripherals market is one of those areas as their mouse line-up has gotten positive reviews from a lot of places.

Benchmark Reviews has tested all sorts of gaming peripherals in the past, today we are taking an in depth look at the SteelSeries 6Gv2 mechanical Gaming Keyboard. The 6Gv2 is the little brother of the 7G and does away with some of the unneccesary features of an already basic gaming keyboard and for a good reason too, the 7G is a little on the expensive side. The 6Gv2 does away with the USB hub, the audio ports and the wrist rest. The price is still a little high at $99.99 but it is certainly better than the price of the 7G, essentially the 6Gv2 is a stripped down version so lets see if it's worth your hard earned cash.

Normally at this point we would take a look at the included software bundle, but there is no software for the M571 - it's truly plug and play. This is nice in that you don't have to spend time configuring the software and setting up a ton of macro buttons, but also a bit restrictive in that you can't fine-tune the mouse to your exact liking. For example, you are stuck with the preset DPI settings and button mapping that Arctic Cooling has selected for you.

A replacement mouse pad is one of the cheapest ways to improve your gameplay experience in any game that makes use of the little rodent. Additionally, since the bar to entry for this market is so low, there are dozens, if not hundreds, of different companies competing for your money. Today, we'll be looking at a range of offerings from a company that's relatively unknown outside of their home country, GrowUp Japan.
