Not everyone wants to spend over $300 for a keyboard/mouse combo as a matter of fact most will be happy with a sub-$50 set that does the basics and nothing more. When I was recently looking for a keyboard and mouse desktop combo for my HTPC, I wanted to be under $30. It’s stated that the SlimStar 8000 will retail at $25 and at that price it is a deal!

Gamers usually shun wireless peripherals, always wary of a possible energy loss. No one wants to rummage around for a cable and lose an online match. With that in mind, Gigabyte has released a wireless gaming-grade mouse with a long lasting 50 hour battery that comes with an extra battery that you can rapidly switch. Besides those characteristics, the Aivia M8600 reaches 6,500 DPI and features a design for both right- and left-handed users, plus ten reprogrammable buttons. Let's talk first about its physical aspects and then test its wireless operation.

There was a time in my game writing career that I thought I would never get the chance to play, let alone review, Duke Nukem Forever. When 3D Realms announced this game during the 1998 E3 Expo little did they know the saga that it would become. Frequently the number one on Wireds vapourware list, it had come to be well accepted the game would never see the light of day. However, thanks to Gearbox, that is not the case and it is here and whilst the game disappoints in many ways, in others it does not.

We mainly focus on enthusiast products here at Legit Reviews, but we know that not everyone can afford high-end products or even has a need for them. It is for that reason that we try to mix some mainstream products into the mix as well. Today, we have the Logitech M305 Wireless Mouse up for review. You might be impressed by what you get for an inexpensive $20 RF wireless mouse!

When USB3.0 was introduced to the market a couple of years back, there were very few products on the market that could make use of the high-speed interface. It was also very expensive to add USB3.0 functionality to your system with expansion cards costing in excess of £50 and peripherals being even more expensive.
