Bluetooth is really starting to see resurgence now thanks in no small part to support from heavy hitters like Apple and Creative Labs with their latest products. But there also needs to be (and is) a good amount of third party support from companies like Arctic Sound to make this comeback totally successful.

Logitech recently announced updates to their popular G-Series line of gaming products with the release of the Gaming Keyboard G510, Wireless Gaming Mouse G700 and Wireless Gaming Headset G930. The G510 replaces the G15 gaming keyboard while the G700 is the first wireless gaming mouse from Logitech since the G7 which is now over half a decade old. Today we will be taking a look at the Gaming Headset G930, which is essentially a wireless version of the G35 Gaming Headphones that we looked at last year. Although the two are very similar, there are a few subtle differences that Logitech have implemented.

The Arctic Sound P531 is a 5.1 USB headset from Artic Cooling, very helpful in games which require 3D sound positioning, but also movies or sound files that have multi-channel sound content, and produces a very nice bass. The casing is built mostly from plastic, but does not give us a cheap feel and thanks to that it is very light. The software can even transform the stereo sound which we listen to the most into 5.1 so we can use the surround feature everywhere.

Most companies that produce mouse mats tend to dip into other peripheral fields; the obvious one being the world of gaming rodents; QPad are one such firm. Today I'm taking a look at a new mouse from them known as the 5k which features a high DPI (though they term it CPI), a good polling rate and low USB response time. Let's see how it compares to some of the more established names on the market.

The Arctic Cooling Arctic M551 gaming mouse glided over my desk like it was on ice, and I really enjoyed the feeling and shape of the mouse as it fit in my hand. The buttons were all very easily accessible, and at no time did I feel like they were out of place. After I played with the DPI settings and got used to how fast and accurate it made the pointer, I really enjoyed using it.

The Cyborg V.5 Rumble Pad from Mad Catz is a product to consider if you’re looking for a controller which we can be used on both PC and our Xbox 360 console; it also brings an unique feature: the Cyborg module which allows you to swap the d-pad and thumbstick between Xbox 360 and PS3 mode

Gaming laptops are becoming more and more common at LAN parties (and for techies on the go). There are a lot of laptops that feature amazing onboard nVidia and ATI graphics chips, and can be considered true desktop replacements. Since they were meant to be portable, why would you also want to lug around a large mouse and lots of accessories?
Peripherals
Arctic Cooling may not have a well known name in PC audio, but with the Arctic Sound P531 5.1 gaming headset they have a pretty good first salvo into the market. The P531′s offer great sound in movies, music and games offering a solid all around headset.
