In August of 2012 Corsair bought out Raptor Gaming which was a pretty successful gaming accessories company over in Europe. With this Corsair was able to help promote their gaming products in Europe and also bring the Raptor Gaming products to the USA. Now that the Raptor products have been brought across the pond, we are able to get some a taste of the popular gaming products that are big in Europe. Today we are going to be taking a look at the Corsair Raptor K50 keyboard which features fully customizable LED backlighting of your keyboard and more. Lets see if we can make the true colors of the Corsair Raptor K50 glow.
Peripherals
Corsair introduced the K40, the newest keyboard from Corsair based on rubber dome switches and offering 16.8 million color choices for the backlighting.

Mechanical keyboards have been popular with the gaming audience now for some time, but they can often be rather expensive. Corsair recently released their K40 gamer keyboard which uses more mainstream rubber domes but takes a leaf out of the ‘mechanical playbook’ by keeping the switches separate from one another. It also has macro keys and a fully fledged backlighting system. If your budget is limited to £50 is this the keyboard that you need to shortlist?

Earlier this year we looked at a couple of mechanical keyboards from Corsair, the K95 and the K70 and both performed well in our testing... adding another range of quality products to Corsairs ever expanding catalogue. Today on our test bench we will be taking a look at another gaming keyboard from Corsair, the Raptor K30.

It was late-summer in 2012 when Corsair announced it had acquired Raptor Gaming, a German based maker of gaming peripherals. Corsair gained both a European based headquarter to distribute its wide range of computer hardware and Raptor Gaming’s entire portfolio of keyboards, mice, headsets, and accessories, which formed a new series of gaming products alongside Corsair’s Vengeance gaming products. Corsair has respected the Raptor name and not only continues to maintain many of the acquired products, but has integrated the name into new products. New Corsair Raptor products represent gaming products aimed at a more mainstream audience alongside the premium Corsair Vengeance peripherals. We look at the first ever Corsair Raptor headsets to be released, a pair called the HS30 and HS40 which join the rest of the 2013 Vengeance headsets for a refreshed lineup of Corsair gaming headsets.

This week I have been spending time with the M95, the latest gaming peripheral from Corsair. Corsair have a long and rich history in the PC market and have experience in making everything from some of the finest PC chassis on the market, award-winning high-end CPU coolers, SSD hard drives, memory modules and many of them prove popular around the world with enthusiast gamers, PC users and just about anyone else, chances are this if you've been a PC user for more than a couple of years, you've owned at least one Corsair product.
The M95 is part of the Corsair gaming range and will take its place along side other Corsair products such as the M65 FPS mouse which we reviewed last month and while that was one of the finest FPS mice I've ever seen, the M95 is set to tackle the world of MMO gaming, if you think the world of competitive FPS gaming is fierce, then move aside, because MMO gaming can demand so much more of a gaming mouse, but will the M95 have what it takes to fulfil the exacting demands of the MMO gaming crowd, or is it just another mouse with more buttons that most people need?
