Remember back in the days as a child when you had best friends? One friend would always say, "You are my best friend... in the world." As time passed on, the relationship between these two individuals may grow closer or further apart; I don't know what your reasons are for such developments, but I can tell you that my passion for computer hardware and miscellaneous electronics has increased dramatically. This is also due to the fact having APH conference calls into the wee hours of the morning has given me a lot more insight into modern technology (Yes, we work very hard at APH Networks to write quality reviews for our readers). As the years go by, some things are not meant to be forgotten, especially items that hold valuable memory. In the world of computer hardware, there are many pieces of hardware where I can truthfully say, in a Jeremy Clarkson voice from Top Gear, "This is the best toy... in the world." What we have here today is a mouse. No, I am not talking about mice that run around and hide in holes in the wall. I am specifically referring to the Tt eSPORTS Black Element. Taking a brief glance at it, I already feel that this mouse is a very classy-looking piece of gaming hardware. However, remembering the old saying, "Don't judge a book by its cover", I was second guessing whether or not the Black Element is truly better than its younger brother, the Tt eSPORTS Black. After weeks of extensive testing, the results are in. Read on to see what I have found!

In the not so distant past, we took a look at the X-Tatic SX stereo headset from manufacturer Sharkoon and whilst we thought it was a great product, it wasn't compatible with a well known platform. This is of course the PlayStation 3. The SX headset was a prime candidate for PC usage as well as Xbox 360, especially with its Xbox styling in white and green, but for PS3 users they would have to look around for something else.

Logitech have always had a place in my heart for making some of the best peripherals around, and if I can be honest with you I'm a bit of a Logitech whore when it comes to my main system.

The sound quality from the Cooler Master Storm Sirus 5.1 gaming headset is impressive; providing solid bass reproduction, while the other channels are clear and crisp. Using the control pod, the sound quality can be adjusted to meet any need. In addition, the microphone is easily able to pick up your voice to allow for clear voice chat while gaming.

While we like to take a look at a lot of hardware at eTeknix, some other accessories can make a large difference to your overall gaming experience, or even to your general computer experience. Today is the turn for a mousepad by the gaming brand of Thermaltake, Tt eSPORTS.

After a long period of usage, keyboards become dirty. Sometimes they lose buttons. Sometimes this happens because you smack it at the wall in anger. Whatever reason you have for getting a new keyboard, you also need good reasons to buy a specific one. Maybe one that can be cleaned easily, maybe one that has better resistance to walls.

As one of the larger generic peripheral manufacturers, computer users (and indeed XSReviews) are no strangers to Speedlink’s products. Today, we are looking at the Speedlink Metis, a wireless headset. It’s got a boom mic, USB transmitter and a rechargable internal battery. Is it any good though? Read on to find the out the full prognosis.

Now SteelSeries have released their third generation of WoW mouse The Legendary Edition which ties itself into the game via the legendary tag. Legendary equipment in World of Warcraft is very rare and difficult to come by and those that possess it quite rightly have a very high level of satisfaction. So today we take a closer look to see if SteelSeries have been able to continue the good evolution of their WoW hardware.

MadCatz are known for making very unique looking products but its not until you have a blast on the Cyborg R.A.T 7 Gaming Mouse when you feel like their products are unique. The R.A.T 7 is one of the most customisable mouses out there, it has three interchangeable palm rests, and three pinkie rests, personally I find having the grip palm rest gives me best results when pwning noobs. Underneath the mouse it has five 6-gram weights which you can change and make the weight of the mouse different for different gaming styles.
