Back in October we reviewed one of the latest products from SteelSeries, their Shift gaming keyboard. In that review we found the board to perform very well, featuring huge flexibility, upgradable firmware, powered USB port for charging and some intuitive software. Since then we have used the keyboard every day for both gaming and general use and have found it to perform exceptionally well with high levels of comfort and a flawless typing experience.

You know that expression "this is the Ferrari of keyboards"? Well, it seems that Gigabyte got inspired by it and created a great gaming keyboard that, aside from really behaving like a Ferrari of gaming keyboards, it also features a design clearly derivative of the Italian car maker. The Aivia K8100 comes in black, red and yellow versions and features an emblem on the wrist rest that just looks too much like the ones found on sportst cars. Let's take it for a ride then.

Gaming laptops are becoming more and more common at LAN parties (and for techies on the go). There are a lot of laptops that feature amazing onboard nVidia and ATI graphics chips, and can be considered true desktop replacements. Since they were meant to be portable, why would you also want to lug around a large mouse and lots of accessories?

I have a rather high set of criteria for the "ultimate mouse". In short, such a product should have all of the features without any drawbacks of prior products. I seek wireless technology without lag, a multitude of programmable buttons, onboard memory, high DPI, notched AND free scrolling, customizable resolution switching... oh, and it shouldn't cost a lot, either. I think I may have a serious heir to the throne in the Logitech G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse. Can this rodent truly be everything to everyone?

Mad Catz, famous for their console peripherals, has been making the spotlight in the PC gaming market with their innovative designs. Mad Catz's recent acquisition of audio manufacturer Tritton shows their intentions to establish a firm foothold in the PC peripheral business. This time they bring us the Mad Catz Call of Duty: Black Ops Dolby Digital 5.1 Gaming Headset. Benchmark Reviews will test how well this headset delivers surround sound, and decide whether it's worth the $149.99 price tag.

Known as a memory maker, Corsair releases its first headset, the HS1. It is a 7.1 surround USB model good for gaming, listening to stereo music and enjoying DVDs and Blu-Rays with Dolby sound. We're going to describe the product, analize its installation and see how it behaved during testing.

Never a company to rest on their laurels SteelSeries have been developing the follow-up to their original WoW mouse for some time now and today, timed to coincide with the release of the latest World of Warcraft expansion, we have the launch of that new product. The World of Warcraft: Cataclysm MMO Gaming Mouse takes the concept behind the original and brings the specifications up to date then packs into a new, even more attractive casing. Can it be as good as the original for WoW players?

There are a huge number of gaming keyboards on the market so it can often be very difficult to make a decision on which to buy. When we review gaming keyboards it is always good to see a product that brings more features to the table and differentiates itself in some way from the competition.

For a select few, mechanical keyboards hold a special place in their hearts, unfortunately for those people the number of mechanical keyboards on the market is very small with even less having any type of unique design for gaming. Razer recently introduced the Razer BlackWidow mechanical gaming keyboard, which uses the Cherry MX Blue switches to give it auditory and tactile feedback along with requiring less pressure to actuate. Razer hope to compete with the SteelSeries 7G and the Qtronix XARMOR-U9BL using the BlackWidow's venomous bite as its weapon. As Razer's first foray into the mechanical keyboard market, and Benchmark Reviews will determine whether the BlackWidow is as venomous as they claimed or if it's all for show.
