Today we are going to look at the FireGlider Laser Gaming Mouse from Sharkoon which promises to impress even the most demanding gamers. It is about half the price of a lot of gaming mice on the market but we’ll soon see how its performance compares.

Gamers can be particular and demanding when it comes to their hardware
and particularly their mice. With the Eclipse mouse, OCZ is showing they are listening to gamers needs and giving them what they want. With a large range of customization and onboard profiles, the Eclipse brings a lot to the table. Dual lasers make for accurate tracking and on the fly DPI switching makes it easy to go from running and gunning to sniping in no time.

Recently ASUS and their Republic of Gamers brand announced the Vulcan ANC headset, a high end gamer product which is designed to offer great features, build quality and design. Included in this is active noise cancelling technology which will appeal to those who game, or listen to multimedia, in a noisy environment. Today we have the Vulcan ANC attached to our system as we find out whether it can compete with headsets sold by manufacturers such as Razer and SteelSeries.

SteelSeries just released a new gaming-grade mouse inspired by the Japanese martial arts called the Sensei (master) that reaches 11,400 dpi of resolution. The Sensei is powered by a 32-bit ARM processor that controls the ExactTech settings for enhanced movement calculation without having to rely on installed software, even on the user's PC. All this firepower is software adjustable, from button configuration to the choice of 16.8 million colors to personalize the lightning of the mouse. Let's go over its physical aspects prior to reviewing its performance.

Not long ago, we received the Aivia Osmium keyboard from Gigabyte for reviewing. Imagine our surprise when we received another Aivia Osmium with almost no difference in the presentation, aside from having white illumination instead of blue, and featuring Cherry MX Brown mechanical switches instead of the red model. The boxes have different visuals, but the consumer has to keep a keen eye to know which Osmium he or she is buying because there is no hint in their names (like "Osmium Brown" or "Osmium Red", for instance). Let's test this new Osmium and compare it to the one previously reviewed the main thing here is to know the difference between those two types of mechanical switches.

Let's start off with me admitting that before I had started this review, I had never heard of Mionix. As I was offered the mouse for review, I did my usual bit and started checking out their products, website and various other user reviews and thoughts. I looked at their website for the NAOS 5000 and thought it looked plain and wrote it off as a mouse that would be mediocre at best. Oh, how wrong I was.

Logitech has done a fine job bringing mice to the market that at least partially compensate for the lack of a touch screen on a Windows 8 system. Unless you have just purchased a brand new all-in-one system or notebook with built-in touchscreen, chances are slim to none that you own a touchscreen display that adheres to Microsoft’s requirements. With the t620, Logitech succeeded best in our opinion: this mouse offers serious added functionality for Windows 8, that in our experience you will actually use and enjoy. The t400's extra functions are far more limited, too limited to really consider this a true Windows 8 mouse.
