Peripherals
Func is a company you might have heard of before many years ago. Founded in 1999, fUnc released its first product in 2000, the sUrface 1030 dual sided mouse pad. Since its early rounds of early releases, Func grew quiet until last year when it began to release products both new and refreshed. The Func 10302 mouse pad is one of the refreshed products we’ll be looking at today in this combined review with their new gaming mouse called the MS-3. Read on to see how they both perform!
Peripherals
Gamers with big hands are often forgotten by the companies that make gaming-grade peripherals. Thinking about these players, Func, a California-based company that had been dormant for a while, is releasing the MS-3, a big mouse with a large palm-grip design that features twelve programmable functions and 5,670 dpi of resolution. We tested it along with the new Surface 1030 XL mousepad, also from Func. We will first introduce the products and then we will see how they fared.
Peripherals
The Func MS-3 gaming mouse uses an Avago 9500 laser sensor with variable DPI adjustment ranging from 90 to 5670. The Func MS-3 is ergonomically designed to comfortably fit right handed use with a generous resting area for the ring and pinky fingers. There are four extra buttons around the thumb area of the Func MS-3 mouse which are strategically placed so accidental button presses are avoided. Through the Func-MS3 software, buttons can be reassigned and features can be enabled or disabled. Macros can also be recorded and stored either as a *.map file or onboard the 512KB memory. Combined with the Func Surface 1030XL dual-surface mousepad, users have flexible options and control how responsive their gameplay experience can be. Both the Surface 1030XL and MS-3 gaming mouse are made from high-quality materials covered with a 2-year warranty.

FUNC returns to the peripherals game after some years with its MS-3 laser gaming mouse as well as Surface 1030 L gaming pad. Was the wait worth it?
Peripherals
Peripherals
Today we are looking at the new gaming mouse from FUNC – the MS3. This mouse targets the high end enthusiast sector and is priced accordingly, around £60 inc vat. The MS-3 uses an Avago Laser sensor which the company claim delivers stable results with a high maximum tracking speed, up to 5,670dpi. The MS-3 is a large wired, 10 button mouse with an ‘instant aim’ button and 3 profile onboard memory system. Should this be on your shortlist in 2013?
Peripherals
Today on our test bench we will be taking a look at FUNC's first gaming mouse in their new range, the MS-3. The MS-3 is a 10 button large gaming mouse with a unique thumbzone button configuration and we are keen to see if it lives up to the quality reputation that FUNC have for their products.
Peripherals
After a lot of waiting, we are happy to see the new products from Func, which include the MS-3 gaming mouse with an ergonomic shape, but also the revised Surface 1030 mouse pad, coming in two different sizes.
