The Roccat Sense Gaming Mousepad is seek & lightweight and has a top surface that's treated with an slippery, friction-reducing microcrystalline coating and the bottom is 2mm of anti-slip rubber. It measures in at 400x280mm, so it's the perfect size and comes in two designs, Chrome Blue & Meteor Blue. If intense, high-speed gaming combat is what you're into, this pad would be excellent.

Granted, I haven’t been using printer paper, but my first foray into a real mousepad wasn’t that long ago. The first true “gaming” mouse pad I ever used was given to me by my best friend, erad1cate. He purchase an Alienware (Dell) laptop online and it came with a hard plastic “gaming surface”. Since his girlfriend had already purchased him an awesome aluminum gaming surface he decided to give me the Alienware one. Immediately I noticed a difference in my play and comfort. What have I been doing all these years? Living uncomfortably, that’s what. Roccat, whose been known for solid input devices, sent us their new Sense High Precision Gaming Mousepad. This budget-friendly surface option is boasted as the solution to all your gaming needs so let’s see if it lives up to that bill.

Today we’re taking a quick look at the recently relaunched Roccat Sense mousepad. The mousepad was actually released back in 2008 and has proved a popular product for Roccat, so they’ve given it a new design and put it back on the market alongside their newly launch Roccat Kone Pure Optical gaming mouse. The reissue comes with a brand new Meteor Blue design, and all the original features that made it so popular are still intact.
Having the right surface can really make or break your gaming experience. Not only can the right surface improve your comfort during long gaming sessions, but having the right surface for your mouse can also improve your accuracy and it can change how well your mouse glides over the surface. All of which are important to get right, but also all are very subjective and different for each user, mouse, or in some cases each game.
Priced at around 20 Euros the Sense is on par with many similar options on the market and this re-release will no doubt please fans of the original who are eager to purchase again the surface after all these years. So let’s get right to it and see what this surface has to offer.
The packaging is nicely designed and on par with what we usually see from Roccat. They’ve added two sample cuts of the material on the side of the box, one with the top surface and one with the grip base to give you a good indication of the texture.

Well here it is folks, the review that many have been waiting for; not because I'm some ungodly talented reviewer, but because this product has been so tantalizingly close to release for so long now, it's become the hardware version of vaporware.

The Roccat Valo keyboard draws attention by the big number of additional keys. It comes with 41 dedicated keys just to record macros with up to 500 (!) keystrokes in a single long sequence. Furthermore, it has illuminated keys and it includes a small microphone to be plugged to the side (for the user who doesn't want to speak through a headset). Those and other features are going to be examined in the course of this review, beginning with the physical description of the keyboard.

Traditionally a headset is basically a large pair of earmuffs which have speakers in the ears and lots of padding for comfort. Roccat are clearly very good in this field with their recently released Kave 5.1 which was definitely given the thumbs up.
