Today we’re looking at a straight forward, simple mouse from Speedlink. It’s called the Snappy and just by looking at it you can see why, but looks alone won’t suffice. Let’s see how good it really is.

Not every mouse needs to be some huge gamer palm gripper with MMO buttons, colour changing lights, DPI switches, different profiles and lift off sensors. Sometimes you just want to go back to basics, a slower paced rodent for a slower paced game. That’s what Zowie have purportedly put together in their Mico mouse. It’s “only” got a DPI of 1600 in three different steppings, but they’ve worked together with pro Starcraft players to make it, so it’s unlikely to lower your APM.

Bowers & Wilkins has entered the in-ear monitor market. After the splash they made last time with the P5, leveraging decades of loudspeaker engineering expertise, this is a development worth observing. Mere cashing in or another category killer? Let's find out.

A few weeks back we took a look at the ZOWIE EC1 Gaming Mouse in a lovely white, today is the turn of its comrade in arms but as a nice contrast in black. ZOWIE pride themselves on being a company focused on bringing you the best gaming peripherals out there, while doing everything they can to make sure the design and looks are not compromised. While ZOWIE's product range may be fairly limited, covering, mice, headsets, keyboards and mousepads, each product has been designed with a lot of input from expert and professional gamers making sure each one is up to a very high standard. We certainly hope this is the case with the ZOWIE EC2.

We at eTeknix do like to take a look at as many peripherals as possible, but we are especially keen to take a look at something a bit different and a bit more innovative. Today we have a productive that while it isn't revolutionary in design or features, is certainly an inventive product, and one that we expect to be fairly popular.

Today for review I’ve got a product that just has to be seen or actually heard to be believed. It’s a product that I thought was just a gimmick, but I was wrong, very wrong. It’s called the Pocket Boom Portable Vibration Speaker, and it’s a speaker that you can hook to anything with a standard 3.5mm jack. It’s much more than that though as it’s technically not a speaker. Yes, I said it’s called a speaker but it’s not a speaker, well yes it is though. I’ve confused myself I think here. Seriously though it work through vibrations, you can attach it to most anything like a cup, box, table or whatever and that item you attach it to will become the actual speaker. Let’s just jump right into the review…
