When you think of a mouse pad you think about the old floppy foam ones or even the textured plastic ones that were big in the early 2000’s. With those you have to worry about getting it dirty or spilling your drink all over it. Well worry no more my friends! This mousepad is washable, water resistant and scratch resistant because it is made from aluminum. That’s right, ALUMINUM! It is the first that I have ever seen and might just be the first one to hit the market.

Testing wireless portable speakers while I’m away on business or during one of my very short yearly vacations is something i really do enjoy doing but although I’ve tested plenty such devices in the past I’ve always felt that there's no way I’ve seen it all in terms of features and performance. Sure numerous models have passed through here ranging from very compact ones that can fit in the palm of your hand and up to very large ones which i wouldn't quite call "portable" but all of them had one thing in common, target audience. For good or bad every single one of those speakers was aimed at regular consumers who just want to listen to their favorite tunes and although i also belong in that category there are people who don't and would like something more from a portable speaker. IK Multimedia caters to professional musicians around the world and their latest iLoud Studio-Quality Portable Speaker might just be exactly what some of them have been looking for.

Regardless of the budget available or purpose for the earphones Sennheiser have a model available and in our experience even the reasonably priced models offer a fantastic sound when compared to their competitors. Today though, we are right up at the high end of their product catalogue with the IE8. This is the top model in their Professional Portable range and is surprisingly configurable so today we find out if these are useless gimmicks which detract from the sound quality or if the whole package combines to create some of the best headphones ever.

I-Rocks got back to basics with this wireless keyboard/mouse combo and I must say they did a great job. This is the kind of product that will appeal to a wide range of computer users not only because of the excellent build quality and reliable wireless signal; it also offers a setup process that is simple enough for even novice computer users.

In the end this little keyboard exceeded my expectations. The construction is very solid, the orange backlighting looks awesome, and it has a nearly full 103-key lineup so it's perfect for just about any task. Gaming is what it's designed for and it works great for that, but the soft and quiet keys also work well for general computer use.

Overall, I am satisfied with this keyboard. It does exactly what it is meant to do, which is to provide a comfortable alternative to the cramped style of a laptop or netbook keyboard.

Today on our test bench we will be taking a look at the K10 gaming keyboard from i-Rocks. The K10 is from the ROCK series of peripherals, which includes a mouse, the M09 and the A05 headset along with the C10 mouse mat and is promoted as a serious alternative to mechanical gaming keyboards, with an extra-long key stroke distance for a standard membrane keyboard.

Up for review today I’ve got the i-mego Earth Series headphones, and they’re green in both color and construction. Not only is the packaging made from recycled material but the headphones themselves are. The MSRP is under $50, so I didn’t expect them to sound amazing, but they aren’t too bad overall.

At CES 2015, Kingston announced an update to the original HyperX Cloud gaming headset, the HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset. If you are familiar with the HyperX Cloud gaming headset, the HyperX Cloud II looks nearly identical. Physically, the difference comes from a difference in color options, and a new mid-line controller. What separates these headsets is the inclusion of virtual 7.1 Surround Sound thanks to a USB sound card on the HyperX Cloud II. Read on to see how they perform!
