We reviewed the HE Mouse. Ergonomic input devices are rare these days, so it was great to test a product that tried something different. The vertical orientation of the HE Mouse does indeed reduce the strain on your hand, wrist and forearm, so if you’re susceptible to RSI then this could be a good alternative. It falls short of perfection, however, since the lack of an accurate sensor limits the applications for this mouse.

You don't have to be an audiophile to appreciate the enhanced surround sound effects from Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD Master Audio found on most Blu-ray Disc movie discs over the standard Dolby Digital or DTS formats found on standard DVD movie discs. The lossless audio compression formats and/or the two extra channels of sound output really adds a significant amount of realism to the whole movie watching experience. The problem is most HTPC owners don't have the ability to experience these enhanced formats due to a lack of sound cards on the market that can support these formats. Although I’ve used and tested over 60 different mice models from most manufacturers around so far i can't say that there have been many wireless ones that i would ever consider playing games with. As a matter of fact aside the very good R.A.T.9 by Mad Catz and the Ouroboros by Razer (which shares quite a few characteristics with the R.A.T.9) i don't think there's a chance I’d ever use another wireless gaming mouse with one of my desktop systems since yes i do like to play games whenever i find the time. Logitech has also launched a few wireless "gaming" mice in the market with very good performance levels but so far none felt exactly at home when playing fast passed FPS and MMOs something which is naturally considered as an issue especially for gamers. Well it seems that Logitech is not giving up on gamers and so just recently they announced their latest G602 Wireless Gaming mouse which has been on our test bench for just over a week now.
The Roccat Kone Pure performs really well. The precision and sensitivity are very good, there's no acceleration and the lift-off distance is only 0.95 mm after calibration. The grip lends itself to low-sense gaming. The software is comprehensive and you can combine the mouse with a Roccat keyboard through the Roccat Talk protocol.
Sometimes I find that playing games with a keyboard just does not cut it. Games that require quick action such as platform games or puzzle games don't always work as well using a computer keyboard. The R.A.T.M. mouse from Mad Catz is a fresh iteration of the previously released versions but with a more portable, compact revision. The use of Bluetooth 4.0 LE allows a battery life of about an year and for customizing the product we get software for both Windows and Mac OSX platforms.
When it comes to audio for our computers most just accept what comes with their computers. If you bought a pre-made computer then you got a pair of speakers with it, granted many times you can get decent ones but most times they’re fairly bad sounding really. Our computers today are much more than just that, they’ve become multi-media centers and as such a decent set of stereo speakers is need or even a nice little surround sound system. Today for review I’ve got the Hercules XPS 5.1 70 Slim speaker system, and from my time with them I’ve come to enjoy them very much, they’ve truly added a new depth to my audio experience.
