The Razer Salmosa hasn't let me down through the weeks of abuse. The mouse worked flawlessly. The speeds manufactures advertise with which the mouse operates on and how fast it is, it's the same as car manufactures like Ferrari and Porsche keep telling their customers that they made their already fast car even a second faster. Will you actually feel or notice the difference? Does this mean the Salmosa with its optical sensor is less good than infrared sensor powered mice, or laser mice? No not necessarily.

"The construction is top-notch, it's not too heavy, and it's loaded with features. I like that it's symmetrical without sacrificing comfort. There's a lot of quality design involved with this surprising little input device. To top it all off, Set Point adds a degree of flexibility completely absent from other mice, the sort of flexibility that you might not be willing to give up once you've got it."

Gamecom, a company I had not previously encountered much, are the manufacturers of the latest headset to been reviewed here at XSR. The Gamecom 367 Headset carries the slogan ‘Engineered by gamers for gamers’ so let’s hope its cut out for some serious gaming but will it be able to cope with other forms of media, namely movies? Only one way to find out.

Spending a ton of money will buy you a myriad of features and great performance, but some of those extras you may not need or will use very infrequently. Strip away the bells and whistles and you're left with a boring old standard keyboard, which isn't good enough for gamers of any skill level either. Fortunately, Razer has found a happy medium with the Arctosa. It puts an emphasis on performance and style while leaving out unnecessary things like backlighting and integrated USB ports.

ZOWIE Gear is a new face on the market of gaming and with their first
product, the P-RF mousepad, they have left a very positive impression on me. The P-RF doesn't seem to move an inch under heavy gaming and is accurate in both games and graphic applications.

Here at xtreme we are no stranger to the excellent work that eDimensional has done having reviewed the renowned AudioFX pro headphones last year. So when I got my hands on a pair of the New AudioFX2 extreme gaming and audio headset I couldn't wait to get started.

Peripherals
In the end this little keyboard exceeded my expectations. The construction is very solid, the orange backlighting looks awesome, and it has a nearly full 103-key lineup so it's perfect for just about any task. Gaming is what it's designed for and it works great for that, but the soft and quiet keys also work well for general computer use.

The Razer Salmosa is clearly trying to pack a lot into a small package. Utilizing the same 3G sensor as the DeathAdder, it eschews its bigger cousin's lights and extra buttons, instead delivering the essentials in the smallest practical package. Join Will as we take a look to see if this is a mouse you can sink your teeth into, or one that just bites.
