Headsets are all the rage in the gaming market, and recently we have seen a huge spike in the number of 5.1 and even the occasional 7.1 surround sound headset. Some of the headsets claim to offer a virtual 5.1 surround sound and others, like the Tritton PC510 HDa Gaming Headset we reviewed a while back that offer 'True 5.1 surround sound' . The CM Storm Sirus 5.1 Gaming Headset certainly claims to offer the true surround sound experience and for fairly well founded reasons.

The Thrustmaster T500RS Racing wheel is arguably the best gaming racing wheel simulator device in the world, arguably better than the already world famous G27 steering wheel from Logitech.

The world of gaming is a multi-sensory place, plunging us into fanciful worlds and enthralling experiences. A frequently overlooked aspect of the gaming experience is the audio which is normally eclipsed by the more obvious and in some ways easier to critique graphic elements. Good quality audio immeasurably enhances our experience of a game so today we are testing the Tritton Detonator, not an explosive trigger mechanism but a stereo headset for the XBOX 360.

Added as an extra accessory for the MC001, the K481 Wireless Keyboard from Arctic can be used successfully without the need of a mouse thanks to its Multi-Touch Pad which is quite responsive; the keyboard was designed mainly for Media Center uses, and not for other activities like gaming or writing documents. The keyboard does not have the possibility to recharge batteries and comes with a set of regular 1.5V AAA.

Today we'll be taking a look at the Sirus True 5.1 surround sound gaming headset from CM Storm, the gaming peripheral arm of Cooler Master. The Sirus is the first headset produced by CM Storm and given the quality of the previous products we have seen from them has a lot to live up to.

Besides the interesting features taken from the "vanilla" R.A.T 7 Gaming mouse, the Albino Edition features a more powerful sensor, Mac compatibility and an interesting white color. Most of its components are adjustable, so we could spend little time to make it fit our hand as comfortable as possible.
