Today for review I’ve got what has to be the best gaming headset on the market today. It’s features full 5.1 surround sound, but it’s not simulated like other headphones, this is real, as real as you’re going to get. It’s from Psyko Audio and it’s simply called the Psyko Audio 5.1 Gaming Headset. It’s fairly simple name but it’s not a simple product, in fact it’s a spectacular one. if you enjoy gaming then prepare to take things to the next level with the best gaming headset on the market today.

The Psyko 5.1 Headset sets its sights for FPS gamers and nails a bull’s eye. Psyko Audio took a new approach to 5.1 audio and nail it as they offer the best positional audio I have heard in a 5.1 headset. The Psyko 5.1′s are bulky but are balanced well so neck fatigue is minimized and vented ear cups help with long gaming sessions or keeping aware of your surroundings.

Psyko Audio Lab's PsykoWave Technology empowers PC Gamers with what they call an unfair advantage over the competition through precise 3D sound that drastically heightens awareness of your gaming surroundings. Players can instantly identify and locate every gun shot, footstep, and explosion allowing for faster reaction times, higher player performance, and the most immersive gaming experience to date. Could a gaming headset really change your experience so much?

Many people have a home theater system for watching movies in surround sound. HTPC owners aside, few by comparison have a similar setup for their computer however. The basic 2-channel or 2.1-channel remain the most common speaker systems for home computers. Psyko Audio Labs introduces a 5.1 surround sound headset, in what they have coined as "the dawn of audio as a weapon" to improve positional awareness and reaction time for improved game play. Rather than placing multiple speakers in the ear cups they are located above your head, and use WaveGuides to direct the sound around each ear

It's been some time now since we interviewed James Hildebrandt, founder and CEO of Psyko Audios Labs, who announced his revolutionary creation in terms of 5.1 gaming headsets. It's worthy checking out what he had to say back then. But now, it's that time when the coach finishes to deliver his motivational speech and the team faces the field to show if it has what it takes or not. As usual, we'll beging by describing the physical characteristics of the product and then proceed to evaluating its performance.

Not long ago it was easy to lean primarily on a traditional remote control – universal, of course -- relegating the keyboard and mouse to the audio & video (A/V) cabinet, closet, or other locale of last resort –dragging it out just for occasional maintenance or troubleshooting. However, as over-the-top (OTT) content providers such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu and YouTube have become more pervasive, the traditional remote can no longer provide enough functionality as we transition to a search, browse and consume environment. Those hesitant to make space on the coffee table for a “normal” sized wireless keyboard alongside the aging universal; or clinging fervently to the dream of a single remote to manage everything, require something small with the flexibility to control multiple heterogeneous devices. Few options meet these requirements, but the number recently increased with Pulse-Eight bringing out a new home theater PC (HTPC) remote from Motorola. Operating as a 2.4GHz wireless keyboard and providing infrared (IR) learning capabilities in a convenient one-handed form factor the NYXboard Hybrid checks the right boxes, but with the last option offering similar features found lacking it is critical to dig deeper.

Technic3D hat die QPad "5K" Gaming-Maus und das "HeatoN" Mauspad im Test. Wie sich das Duo für Spieler in der Praxis verhält, steht im nachfolgenden Review

Most companies that produce mouse mats tend to dip into other peripheral fields; the obvious one being the world of gaming rodents; QPad are one such firm. Today I'm taking a look at a new mouse from them known as the 5k which features a high DPI (though they term it CPI), a good polling rate and low USB response time. Let's see how it compares to some of the more established names on the market.

One of the best parts of being a product reviewer at TweakTown is getting to take a look at products from companies that I haven't been aware of before. Being based in Sweden and marketing primarily to the European crowd, QPAD is one of those companies that had not hit my radar until their 5K mouse, CT, and HeatoN mousepads hit my doorstep. While not being a glamour name in the States, QPAD is a well known name in gaming across the pond. After doing a little homework on the company, I was interested to see what these products had to offer to expand my global knowledge.
