Since the inception of the first point and click device for computers, there has been someone sitting in a corner thinking to themselves "what can I do to make this better and more useful?" Over many years of evolution we went from mice with just one button on them, to mice with a pair of buttons and a scroll wheel. For many users this is more than enough to deal with as far as their point and click needs go for emails or finding a recipe for Peking duck for the next family gathering. For me, I prefer a mouse to have as many buttons on it as comfortably possible. By this I mean that if given enough buttons to my mice, I prefer to set my gun swap there, grenades, knife, even the push to talk for whatever application I am on at the time I am gaming. The latter part is the biggest concern to me and that is giving me what I want in options without having an odd shape or having to contort my hands in painful ways to utilize all of the buttons.

That was my way of thinking, at least until I actually got to play around with and enjoy playing around with one of the two keyboards that Corsair just sent me. I spent quite a bit of time playing with the keyboards and mice at CES, but you just got the essence of what these boards were all about. They were fully functional at that time, but ten to fifteen minutes of play time does not give you the full feel of this product. Not only did Corsair steeping up to offer a reasonable priced solution to ponder in the mechanical keyboard segment, this keyboard seems to feel better every time I use it and that is something my fingers will say never happened on any of my rubber dome switch keyboards. In reality, with prolonged use of prior boards, my fingers did feel the brunt of the exchange between key and finger.

During the past two months i have received quite a few of the latest keyboards to hit the market all of which are quite special and are mostly targeted towards gamers and enthusiasts. A couple of days ago i brought you a review of the latest Mechanical Gaming Keyboard by TteSports called the MEKA G-UNIT which proved to be more than just a good addition to their MEKA line of mechanical keyboards. Today we will be also taking a look at a gaming oriented keyboard, this time however it is manufactured by ROCCAT and although it's not mechanical like the G-UNIT still it sports a good number of features along with a surprisingly good build quality.

The latest mouse from the Cyborg series is specifically designed for M.M.O. players, brings with it the nice features we have previously seen on the Albino and adds a lot more like extra programmable buttons, RGB LED lighting, the M.M.O shift feature, the unique 5D button, dual ActionLock or the custom World of Warcraft plugin. Custom presets for many games are also offered for download on the Cyborg website, so we do not have to lose extra time and can start gaming right away!

Most people i know are not very much into gaming and computers in general (surprise) so they always use cost effective, mainstream level keyboards which usually last just a couple of years at best. Gamers however and enthusiast alike have a plethora of gaming keyboards to choose from to cover their needs from impressive ones filled with bells and whistles such as the ones manufactured by Logitech and Roccat and from the more durable ones such as the Mechanical Keyboards manufactured by SteelSeries, Razer, Qpad and TteSports. Today we will be taking a thorough look at the latest Mechanical Keyboard offering by TteSports that listens to the name MEKA G-UNIT.
