Overall, Thermaltake has left me impressed with the Challenger Pro gaming keyboard. It's well designed with rugged construction and features that will appeal to gamers such as replacement W A S D and arrow keys, a hand cooling fan, and even “dummy” covers for those pesky Windows keys.

There comes a time in every man’s life when he has to upgrade to a quality mouse. Thankfully, there are no shortage of killer products on the market from the likes of Steelseries, Razer, Roccat and even Microsoft. You would not immediately assume that mass market purveyor of distinctly forgettable peripherals ‘Mad Catz’ would be on this shortlist, but if the Cyborg R.A.T. range are to be considered even on appearance, then they are worthy of some KitGuru time.

The mouse is probably the most important device when it comes to computers, well maybe tied with the keyboard. When it comes to mice you’ve got plenty of options, and not all are created equal that’s for sure. The mouse hasn’t changed much really, but some companies try and redesign them like Smartfish. Today for review I’ve got the Smartfish Whirl Mini Laser Mouse that is unlike any other mouse out there. The Whirl features a laser sensor so it tracks very well on most any surface. What makes the Whirl different is the design of it. The Whirl features what Smartfish calls ErgoMotion, the mouse sits up on sort of a pedestal and the mouse itself pivots all different ways supposedly making it more comfortable and ergonomic. It’s certainly a unique mousing experience.

Mionix who are known for their gaming accessories have released a high performance gaming mousepad named the Propus 380. This oversized mousepad is designed to provide an ice like surface for a smooth glide while still maintaining the ability to have precise movements.

Over the last few years we've seen that talking on your mobile phone while driving is clearly unsafe to the point where you now lose points and get a fine for doing so. Of course, if you use a Bluetooth headset it's not a problem and gives you the ability to answer any phone calls while driving.

Last week at Testfreaks, we had the chance to review the Bluetooth speaker/dock from XtremeMac – the Tango TRX. Today we will look at another Bluetooth speaker – the Disco from a company called Supertooth. While not a dock, it does work with Bluetooth A2DP stereo capable devices including recent iPod Touches, iPhones, iPads, Android models and others. If you wish to connect you Bluetooth enabled laptop or desktop that is a possibility as well

In this review I’ll be taking a look at a really unusual set of Gaming headgear called the ISURUS in-ear gaming headset. Thermaltake have taken the headset era to another level by giving the end user the option of using a sleeker in-ear headset that won’t over time give you that uncomfortable ache you can have using a bulky traditional designed headset.

Roccat while not one of the oldest names in the peripheral business, has certainly made one for themselves in recent years. XSR has been lucky enough to get to review most of what they have to offer and today is no exception.
