The trend is continuing. Blu-ray player competition is getting fierce and we all will be reaping the rewards of cheaper players that will continue to do more with every generation. Samsung's BD-D6500 is a good example of a player that only last year has the features of a model that would have easily been US$100 more.

Not long ago it was easy to lean primarily on a traditional remote control – universal, of course -- relegating the keyboard and mouse to the audio & video (A/V) cabinet, closet, or other locale of last resort –dragging it out just for occasional maintenance or troubleshooting. However, as over-the-top (OTT) content providers such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu and YouTube have become more pervasive, the traditional remote can no longer provide enough functionality as we transition to a search, browse and consume environment. Those hesitant to make space on the coffee table for a “normal” sized wireless keyboard alongside the aging universal; or clinging fervently to the dream of a single remote to manage everything, require something small with the flexibility to control multiple heterogeneous devices. Few options meet these requirements, but the number recently increased with Pulse-Eight bringing out a new home theater PC (HTPC) remote from Motorola. Operating as a 2.4GHz wireless keyboard and providing infrared (IR) learning capabilities in a convenient one-handed form factor the NYXboard Hybrid checks the right boxes, but with the last option offering similar features found lacking it is critical to dig deeper.

Today we take a look at Corsair's top of the line entry into the mechanical keyboard market, the Vengeance K90. With Cherry MX Red switches, 54 fully programmable "G-keys", multimedia controls, and laser etched backlit keys, let's see if this fully featured board will be able to stomp the competition.

We are literally counting the hours before Diablo III the much anticipated (for almost 11 years) RPG game title by Blizzard gets officially released (some may have it already) and so since i am quite certain that most of you are looking forward to it this title should easily break sales records around the world just like StarCraft 2 did just over year ago (perhaps even more). So having already reviewed the very good Diablo III mouse by SteelSeries i thought it would be appropriate to also review their Diablo III headset just hours before the official launch of the game.

To many computer users the mouse is just a necessary little tool for operating their computer. As long as it has two buttons and a wheel and the cursor goes where it's supposed to, most people are satisfied. Gamers are more demanding, however, in terms of comfort, performance, and features. We reviewed 13 gaming mice to find out what's currently out there.
A decent mouse is crucial for the serious gamer, that is why we are in the habit of regularly doing a round-up of the latest gaming mice. The 13 mice in this comparison test vary quite a bit in price, from £45 to £69. It’s a pretty big difference, which should mean that the performance and features should differ significantly as well. The only way of finding this out for sure is by a thorough test. And that’s exactly what we did.

Storage media prices regardless of type (hard disk drives, solid state drives and flash drives) have been taking a significant hit during the past 3 weeks and so after giving it some thought we decided that it would be appropriate if we took a look at the latest USB 3.0 flash drives to hit the market from the big players/manufacturers in the market since now seems to be a very good time for such a purchase. However since not every single drive has made it here yet instead of doing a large comparison this time over we will be standalone reviews as they come. So today the first drive we will be testing is the latest SuperSonic Boost 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive by Patriot Memory.
