Today we have Tt eSPORTS Azurues mouse, which is optimised for FPS gameplay, attached to our test system. With a hardware adjustable laser in steps of 400, 800 and 1600 DPI as well as on-board weights it could well be an ideal solution for those who don't need a million buttons when gaming.

Gaming mouse pads are the sort of product where there isn't a lot of guidance on how things should be done. There's no ATX spec to conform to, no IEEE guidelines to follow. We recently took a look at Corsair’s latest flagship gaming headset, the Vengeance 1500, which impressed us on a number of levels. The outstanding build quality and good sound quality were a winning combination that helped it achieve our most prestigious ‘Must Have’ award. Back towards the start of the year, we took a look at Gigabytes Aivia Gaming Keyboard which took us by surprise as to how well it performed in comparison to its other rivals on the market. Gigabyte have now paired up this keyboard with the Aivia M6800 macro gaming mouse to penetrate into both sides of the gamers needs - a high performance keyboard and mouse.

Mouse mats generally come in one of two flavours: Soft and cuddly, and hard and strong. The Slamepad is definitely in the latter category, as it’s made of German-crafted aluminium. The Slamepad (literal English translation… slam-pad) comes from German outfit ModMyMachine, who are newcomers to the mouse surface scene.

Turtle Beach are one of the biggest names in the gaming audio industry and their products are favoured by gamers across the globe. We recently looked at one of their PC headsets – the Z6A, which was very impressive indeed. Going on past experiences we were very happy to receive their latest Xbox 360 headset to test.

It features both internal and external improvements. Externally Sound ID went with a carbon fiber work to set it apart from earlier editions that were various styles of black. The biggest addition to this Bluetooth headset is the voice menu technology, which allows a user to interact with their phone in new and unique ways. Services such as Bing411, Google Voice and others can be activated using the voice menu. The active connect feature allows users to connect to Bluetooth A2 DP media devices to the headset

While mechanical boards have been around for longer than any other type of keyboard input, they’re usage petered off over the past few decades as cheaper methods of production came in to being. When you’re using your keyboard for just tapping your login into Facebook, you don’t need a £70-100 piece of kit.
