Ever since i can remember myself i never actually used headsets while playing games and watching movies, not because i don't like using them (i do when i listen to music sometimes) but mainly due to the fact that regular complete surround speaker systems (5.1/6.1/7.1) sound a lot better especially if you don't have to care about annoying someone in the process (don't ever place your computer system in the bedroom). However from time to time there have been some quite unique headsets that have won me over with their crystal clear audio clarity and quality of materials just like the AX Pro Dolby 5.1 Surround Headset by TRITTON i had the chance to test just over a year ago and just now the F.R.E.Q.5 Stereo Gaming Headset by Cyborg.

Thanks to AmbiLight like surround lighting effects the latest and perhaps most innovative product by Mad Catz to date called the Cyborg Gaming Lights will most certainly enhance your PC experience in every single way whether you are just playing your favorite games, listening to your favorite music, watching a movie and even while working.
Peripherals
The latest mouse from the Cyborg series is specifically designed for M.M.O. players, brings with it the nice features we have previously seen on the Albino and adds a lot more like extra programmable buttons, RGB LED lighting, the M.M.O shift feature, the unique 5D button, dual ActionLock or the custom World of Warcraft plugin. Custom presets for many games are also offered for download on the Cyborg website, so we do not have to lose extra time and can start gaming right away!
Peripherals
MadCatz are a leading manufacturer and provider of some of the coolest products on the market, with their main focus on the console and portable gaming scene, but they do also cater for the PC peripheral market, especially when it comes to suitable products for flight simulator fans and XBOX consumers wanting to bring a bit of game to the PC in the form of a gamepad controller that their used to.
Peripherals
With an lightning fast next gen 6400DPI twin-eye laser sensor, a more elegant white color (Apple fans) and the same impressive set of features as the original R.A.T.7 the latest Albino version is very close to being the ultimate gaming mouse to date aimed at the most hardcore of gamers.
Peripherals
Most people who really enjoy playing PC games (i included) always choose wired gaming peripherals over wireless ones mainly to avoid encountering the usual issues with them but also because wireless gaming peripherals are usually not on par with wired ones in terms of performance. For example many wireless keyboards have a limitation on just how many keys you can press at the same time while others show a slight delay from the moment you press a key and when that action actually happens. Wireless keyboards and mice also have the typical battery life issue which means that you need to either change batteries quite frequently or recharge the existing ones. Range also used to be an serious issue since the wireless receiver had to be really close, however to my knowledge right now most (if not all) gaming oriented keyboards and mice don't have that problem (most feature at least a 10m range). Well Cyborg (Mad Catz) seems to have solved all of the issues we encounter with gaming mice with their latest (upgraded) R.A.T.9 wireless gaming mouse.

Precision is a trait that gamers from all walks of life strive to achieve. Having quick reflexes is vital when proving your worth online; your mouse becomes your weapon, and your virtual existence is held in place by the reliability of its performance. When there's a thirst for pixelated blood that needs to be quenched, there's no substitution for quality. Ergonomics, precision, endurance; it all screams one thing: fancy gaming mouse. Mad Catz has provided just the thing in their Cyborg R.A.T. 7!
Peripherals
The modular concept of the keyboard is very impressive. The typing experience is very nice, and the extendable wrist supports provide extra comfort. The only real complaint we have is that the numpad module isn't completely programmable. The aluminium base of the keyboard makes it a very solid and sturdy construction, and the touchscreen has lots of features. We have yet to test a keyboard that has as many options as this one. So if you're a gamer and your budget allows spending £220 on a keyboard, then the S.t.r.i.k.e. 7 is an excellent product.
Peripherals
The Cyborg V.5 Rumble Pad from Mad Catz is a product to consider if you’re looking for a controller which we can be used on both PC and our Xbox 360 console; it also brings an unique feature: the Cyborg module which allows you to swap the d-pad and thumbstick between Xbox 360 and PS3 mode
Peripherals
Thanks to an LCD Media Touch Panel, great design, illuminated keys, good battery life, long wireless range and a very good running price tag the latest Wireless LiteTouch Keyboard by Mad Catz and Eclipse is not only a great all-around wireless keyboard but it's also without doubt amongst the best keyboards currently in the market for HTPC owners.
