ADATA has always been a well known manufacturer of memory and storage products. In early 2010, the company announced that it was entering the power supply market with the introduction of the Horus series of power supplies. The HM series comes in five different flavors ranging from 500W all the way up to 1200W, providing something for just about everyone. Today we have their HM-1200 on the bench to see how their first entry into the power supply market performs.
PC Power & Cooling has always been known for their high quality power supplies, but there have been a small number of changes since OCZ acquired them in 2007. Now PCP&C seems to be getting back to basics with the new Silencer models. Gone is the large 135mm overhead fan and back is the 80mm rear mounted format they used in the pre-OCZ years. Of course there are no modular cables here, everything is hard wired as they have always done. And just like most of the Silencer MkII line, the Silencer 760 boasts an 80Plus Silver certification.

XFX is releasing their PRO series of power supplies, with single +12 V rail, DC-DC secondary design, and 80 Plus Bronze certification. So far three models were released: 650 W, 750 W, and 850 W. We have already tested the 650 W model, which proved to have a terrific cost/benefit ratio. Let's see if the 750 W model follows the same path.

SilverStone’s new Strider Plus 600W is quite the nifty unit. It is built well, it performs well and to be honest, there just isn’t too much to complain about. Through our four tests, including the little run in the hot box the Strider Plus 600W continued to impress us by its line regulations and solid efficiency numbers.

Außer diesem Netzteil mit einer Ausgangsleistung von 520W sind innerhalb dieser Serie auch Netzteile mit den Ausgangsleistungen 400W, 620W, 750W und 900W erhältlich.
