Madshrimps received the 1000w version and will put this PSU, in this review, through its paces, testing it under normal home situations. Today we have the latest Seasonic release on our test bench and being their first Platinum unit with a rating of 1000w it has a high standard to achieve.
Since getting our greedy mits on an oscilloscope XSR has been back in full swing with PSU reviews, or at least half a PSU review. Today we’ll be doing the same with a couple of Thortech units, part of Thunderbolt Plus range. One’s 800w, the other 1000w. While our test rig can’t pull anywhere near the maximum of these units, let’s see if we can stress them a little.
