Dopo aver recensito l’alimentatore FSP Aurum da 750W, oggi vi presentiamo la recensione del modello top di gamma della medesima casa produttrice, uno dei marchi con più esperienza nel settore degli SMPS. L’Aurum Pro gode della prestigiosa certificazione 80Plus Gold e dichiara ben 1200W di potenza reale, non di picco, con 100A di corrente massima sulle rail da +12V! E’ un quantitativo a dir poco impressionante quindi siamo curiosi di verificarne la bontà direttamente sotto carico. Buona lettura!

Das Zalman ZM660-XT 660 Watt Netzteil soll, dank Heatpipe Kühler in Verbindung mit einem entsprechend abgestimmten Lüfter, äußerst unauffällig die Komponenten mit Strom versorgen. Dazu garniert Zalman eine ansprechende Optik mit netzteilinternen LEDs sowie Kabel-Management. Dank Impervios Technik-Knowhow sollen auch Stabilität und Effizienzwerte höchsten Ansprüchen genügen.
Cougar aren't exactly the first brand name you think of when we mention power supplies. Cougar have made a name for themselves with some uniquely styled cases and fans at affordable price points but their involvement in the power supply market is certainly something relatively new. Cougar's Power X 550W power supply that we have with us today is one of these brand new power supplies from Cougar. Like a lot of companies selling power supplies Cougar are not actively involved in producing these power supplies as they are produced by HEC/Compucase. That said Cougar are one of the few brands that I know of who actually bring HEC/Compucase OEM power supplies to market (most use Seasonic, FSP, etc) so I am very interested to have a look at this power supply, so without any further ado let us do exactly that!

Enermax has an MSRP of $239 on the Revolution87+ 1000W unit. This puts it at the high-end of the 1000W 80Plus Gold rated market. Unfortunately we have nothing else to say about the price of the unit as it doesn't appear to have hit the market at the time of writing this article.
As a reviewer, I always look forward to reviewing an Antec power supply, primarily due to fact that they really know how to make a good one! Antec has been around since 1986 and has risen to the elite class of PSU manufacturers for no other reason than quality. Antec has made a real mark on the hardware enthusiast market, primarily with their power supplies and cases, to a point where just about any enthusiast that has been building for a few years would have owned an Antec product at some point.
