Be Quiet! have been creating a wide range of power supplies now for many years, with a focus on high quality, low noise designs for enthusiast gaming and media system builds. OCZ has made a very good power supply with the Fatal1ty 1000W. It's extremely efficient, the ripple values are unsurpassed and the individually sleeved wires give it a unique look. The fact that the manufacturer has worked together with Jonathan 'Fatal1ty' Wendell, once known as the #1 gamer in the world, indicates what the intended target audience is for this PSU. If you don't care about a little noise, then the OCZ Fatal1ty 1000W is an excellent PSU with 80 Plus Gold certification that case modders will definitely enjoy.
Arctic Cooling releases a new product with silent rotating fan under their own brand name. Overall a properly priced product with low noise, good performance and some issues with cable length.
Enermax is my personal favourite PSU manufacturer- and with good reason. Enermax uses the right kind of design approach which keeps them extremely popular with enthusiasts and professionals, with the focus primarily on quality while building useful features and a good aesthetic design around it. They have created some very different PSUs over the years, ranging from cheaper models such as the NAXN to the MaxRevo we will be looking at today. But take the price point as low as you like, you will still receive the quality which has gained Enermax such acclaim from reviewers and enthusiasts alike.
Today for review I've got a new power supply from a company called Sparkle, and it's big, not in size but in terms of power. This power supply is 1250 watts, with an 80 plus certification. This PSU has six 12v rails with 120amps across them to make sure you've got enough power for everything.

It's hard to believe it is already February -- it feels like it wasn't too long ago since it was the holidays filled with food, comfort, and in some cases, lots of snow. Of course, in various parts of the world, there is still snow, but at this point, I doubt we wish to see anymore around here in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Either way, it wasn't too far back when we last took a look at a power supply. In fact, it happened to be the last article written in 2010, with none other than the NZXT HALE90 750W report. To start off the month of February, we decided to report on yet another power supply; at the same time, the first one of 2011 as well. The SilverStone Strider Gold ST75F-G 750W we will be taking a look at today is not exactly as unique as the HALE90 in terms of looks, but it is more of a follow-up to the SilverStone Strider Plus ST75F-P 750W with a 80 Plus Gold rating to boot. SilverStone is renowned for their quality products in the computer sector with products such as cases, fans, power supplies, and much more. This will be their first power supply with the Gold rating, and to reuse our slightly dated joke, their first 'stride', so to speak. (Man, is that ever getting old, guess I haven't quite gotten over 2010 yet either.) That said Antec’s HCG series certainly make good buys if you can get a good deal and value the extra performance, even if you have to pay a bit more for it. Today we have another Antec PSU which sits in the middle of those previous two PSUs, the Antec High Current Gamer M 750W. Being part of the HCG series it has a pair of hefty 12 volt rails, has 80 Plus Bronze efficiency, uses a Seasonic OEM design and the “M” denotes a modular design.
