Sparkle Computer Corp, the same company that has manufactured nVidia-based video cards for many years, is now branching into the power supply market and looking to make a big splash doing so. For review today we have one of their new Gold Class power supplies in the 1250W variety. The Gold Class gets its name in part due to the 80Plus Gold rating, reserved for those power supplies exceeding 90%+ efficiency. Couple that with six +12V rails rated for 20A each and you've got a 120A claimed peak load handling capability, that's a whopping 1440W!

I'd like to take this moment to introduce you to the SilverStone Strider Plus 750 Watt Power Supply, a fully modular system. This unit is a new premier power supply from SilverStone that I'll have the privilege of testing here today. We have looked at a few SilverStone power supplies in the past and all have walked away with an award of some sort. Can the new Strider Plus 750w continue this trend of high quality that we have come to expect from SilverStone?

Within the PSU market, Antec would seem to be one of the most willing to push the boundaries and raise standards; and perhaps the ultimate move came in the form of the company’s very own form factor – CPX.
Bearing in mind Antec’s very impressive ATX form factor power supplies (Signature and TruePower series perhaps the most recognised throughout the computing community), it may seem a strange concept to move away from the traditional ATX power supply. The technology behind the idea though makes perfect sense...
The larger casing and externally mounted fan allow for a more spacious interior combined with a larger fan to provide greater airflow at lower speeds.
The unit we’re focusing on in this review is the CP-1000 – the second member of the CPX series following on from the flagship CP-850 and now we’ve unearthed the thinking behind CPX, let’s take a closer look..

Less than two months ago I had the opportunity to check out the Strato 5.1 Surround Sound Headphones from Ozone Gaming. If you happened to read that review, you already know that the Strato performed pretty well in every aspect except perhaps the most important: comfort. The Strato headphones use on-ear ear cups which put pressure on the pinna (outer ear) that causes discomfort even after moderate use. After our review, Ozone agreed to send over a different gaming headset for evaluation, the Ozone Oxid. The Oxid are a bit different than the Strato in multiple categories but perhaps the most important is the ear cup design as these use over-the-ear cups. If the Oxid is indeed more comfortable than the Strato and scores high in some of the same areas the Strato did, this could prove to be a quality headset. Read on as we put them to the test.

Today I'll be reviewing the Cooler Master GX 750w Power Supply Unit - a model from a brand new range. This particular model packs a whopping 750watts. This line of Cooler Master PSU's also includes a very environmentally friendly 85% efficiency at 50% load.

Certain power supply series from Huntkey (like V-Power and Green Star) are labeled with their peak wattage instead of their continuous wattage. So far in our reviews only Titan 650 W (sold in the US as the first version of Best Buy's Rocketfish 700 W) and Jumper 550 didn't explode during our tests. We've already reviewed the 450 W version from Balance King series, which also exploded in a very unusual way. Let's see if the 500 W model will survive our tests.
