Aber auch das Portfolio an Gehäusen wurde gründlich überarbeitet und richtet sich mit einer Vielzahl an Belüftungsoptionen und teils aggressiver Optik an Spieler sowie Besitzer leistungshungriger Hardware. Aus der Reihe dieser Produkte hat es mit dem LC Power Titus_X (Pro-917B) ein Vertreter der unteren Mittelklasse im Preisbereich bis 50,-€ in unser Testlabor geschafft, das mit Ausstattungsmerkmalen wie einem entfernbaren Festplattenkäfig, serienmäßig verbautem 190 mm-Seitenlüfter und einigen Kabelmanagement-Optionen augenscheinlich auf der Höhe der Zeit zu sein scheint. We have had mixed experiences with Thermaltake power supplies in the past. A few of them have delivered excellent results while others have left us disappointed. Today we are looking at the Smart M 750W power supply, a modular unit with 80 Plus Bronze Certification. Thermaltake claim the design can deliver 750W continuously at 40c, and they have opted to use high grade Japanese capacitors throughout for enhanced reliability.
The Thermaltake Toughpower 650W and 750W make a very good impression, even if they don't stand out in a single area. Thermaltake does prove it can make quality 80 Plus Gold power supplies at an affordable price, so if you don't mind that they aren't modular then these are excellent products.
