The new Silencer Mk II power supply series from PC Power & Cooling features a synchronous design with DC-DC conversion, single +12 V rail, 80 Plus Silver certification, and seven-year warranty. We've already tested the 750 W version and it proved to be an excellent product. Let's see if the 650 W model is also a good option.

It seems that many companies have ‘jumped upon the PSU wagon’ in recent years with Corsair, Sapphire and XFX all having dipped their toes into the market with various levels of success. Recently Tul Corporation, or ‘Powercolor’ as they are more commonly known announced their intentions to enter this sector with a new range of Extreme 1000W, 750W and Gaming 600W and 500W units, targeting both mid range and high end sectors.

Last week we reviewed the XFX Pro Series 650W Power supply which proved to be a very capable Seasonic based product offering competitive pricing. Today we follow up with the second in our three part series and focus on the mid priced Pro Series 750W supply.

The all new StealthXStream 2 600W power supply is truly impressive. Performance is spot on, and as the name suggests, it is quiet. But, the most impressive thing of all is the price. Available for $45 dollars after rebate, the unit is an incredible bargain.

Thermaltake is well known for their quality power supplies and the examples we have seen here at TweakTown are certainly no exception. The last time we took a look at Thermaltake PSU, it performed almost flawlessly. This time around we are taking a look at something that appeals to more than just the hardcore enthusiast crowd.

In this review PCSTATS is testing out an entirely fanless, silent 460W power supply from Seasonic's modular "X" series. There aren't very many fanless power supplies on the market so this is a bit of a treat. If you're planning on building 100% silent computer system the Seasonic X-460 Fanless is certainly tempting; it features a 460 Watt power level, modular cable system, matt black fingerprint resistant steel case, good EMI shielding and is able to sustain a peak load of 38A on the +12V rail.

We also like to review low-end products from time to time so people with a serious budget restriction can have an idea whether it is worthwhile to buy cheap products or not. Today we are going to take an in-depth look at the Elite Power 350 W (RS-350-PSAR-I3) from Cooler Master. Can it really deliver its rated power? Is it worthwhile giving it a shot if you don't have a lot of money to spend on a power supply? Let's see.

Most in the USA will not have heard of Super Flower before, but chances are that you have owned a power supply that was designed by or designed in conjunction with Super Flower. They are a huge OEM outside of the USA and, since their expansion in 2006, are becoming more prominent in the United States. Over the years they have manufactured and worked with numerous companies to produce power supplies such as TTGI, Kingwin, NZXT, and more.

In this current society, most people don’t realise how much power is actually needed to power a high-end or even a modern PC. There are standard default models which are around 100-150 Watts for small standalone computers which are purely used to connect you to the internet to watch music or watch movies. That being said there are also computers which require ten times the standard PSU with multiple 12 Volt lines for over one hundred pounds at least for the computer enthusiasts. The ‘class’ of PSU recommended for most self-built systems of mid to high end rigs are around 500 Watts, so for this review we had an interesting 500 Watt PSU, presenting the Silver Power SP-SS500 500W. This PSU was tested in a mid-end computer using triple core AMD processor.
