One of the things we pride ourselves on here at XSReviews is that we'll review pretty much anything. Now some would say this makes us product whores, not so; we simply like to get a wide variety of products on the site. However, this does mean that we end up with some rather interesting items to review; like today.
XFX is releasing their PRO series of power supplies, with single +12 V rail, DC-DC secondary design, and 80 Plus Bronze certification. So far three models were released: 650 W, 750 W, and 850 W. We have already tested the 650 W model, which proved to have a terrific cost/benefit ratio. Let's see if the 750 W model follows the same path.

Entgegen anders lautenden Informationen wollen wir an dieser Stelle keine empirisch belegbare oder evidenzbasierte Aufarbeitung des Thema 80+ starten, geschweige denn einen Aufruf an die Bevölkerung, sich endlich solche Netzteile zu kaufen, auch wenn es uns sicherlich bei den Netzteilherstellern kostenlose Testsamples bis 2091 erwirtschaften würde. Der informierte Leser weiß ja ohnehin, das dieses 80+ Symbol kein Gütesiegel darstellt, sondern ein schlichtes Marketing-Instrumentarium, das leider mittlerweile und natürlich gewollt viel zu stark in den Focus der Verbraucher gerückt sind. Darum geht es hier nicht, wir wollen polemisieren...oder steckt doch mehr dahinter?
