Description
When NVIDIA launched their GTX 550 Ti a couple of months ago as a follow up to the GTX 560 Ti most consumers would have assumed that was it for models that are in the midrange GeForce product stack. As it turns out that isn't the case and in the £75 or so price gap between those two products NVIDIA have found room to place the focus of today's review, the GTX 560 (no Ti). For anyone looking to upgrade their system for 1080p gaming NVIDIA claim this GPU will deliver for less than $199(£150)... let's find out if it does as we take a look at the Palit Sonic Platinum edition of the new GTX 560 in a selection of real world gaming tests mixed with some 3D playback, GPU computing and media tasks.
