Conclusion

General + -
The EpicGear AnurA is definitely a pleasant surprise. The device is comfortable and has some really interesting features, like the double sensor. The rubber surface provides a good grip for long gaming sessions and its symmetrical shape makes it perfect for both left and right-handers. The PixArt ADNS-3060 optical sensor paired with the ADNS-9800 laser sensor perform well and the software is practical and easy to use.   - Design
- Build quality

Performance / Ergonomics   + -
Choosing the right gaming mouse is always a very complicated task, since each sensor has its own advantages and disadvantages. With the AnurA, EpicGear offers a hybrid solution based on a gaming mouse with two sensors, one laser and one optical. More in detail, you have the PixArt ADNS-3060 optical sensor, which able to reach 3200dpi, as well as an ADNS-9800 laser sensor capable of handling up to 6030dpi. In addition to using each sensor on its own and thanks to the HDST technology, it is possible to use both sensors simultaneously with a maximum of 4800dpi. The glide pads - or mouse feet - are made from teflon and ensure excellent stability thanks also to the rough external profile that helps with the smoothness on the surface. Ergonomically the mouse is very comfortable from the first contact, thanks to the softtouch cover on the top. This model can also be used by left-handed gamer. The AnurA is a gaming mouse that can be used by those who prefer the claw and tip grip.   - Comfort - Laser + Optical + HDST Sensor
- Good glide pads

Software   + -
EpicGear's software is a pleasant surprise. It is well-structured, easy to use and with a tons of options. You will be able to change the aesthetics as well as all the functional aspects.   - Easy to use

Recommendation / Price   + -
Checking on Geizhals.eu, the EpicGear Anura starts from 65 Euro excluding shipping costs. The price is definitely interesting and in our opinion justified, since the AnurA does not only feature a high build quality with a very good design, but using a dual sensor option (optical and laser) proves itself affordable for every gamer.   - Price
