With their VOID Pro RGB Wireless Corsair created a comfortable gaming headset. Thanks to a reasonable weight, good balance and soft ear cushions this headset is comfortable to wear. Actually, the padding is made from memory foam, which has been covered using microfiber fabrics and therefore the VOID Wireless should fit virtually any head shape. Apart from that the microfiber cloth should last a small eternity. If you’re concerned about the durability of this headset, then we can tell you that its construction is very solid. Corsair is using a combination of high-quality plastic, aluminum and steel to create a product that's capable of coping with quite some punishment. A quick look at the charging cable shows it measures approximately 1.5 meters, which is long enough, since you’re anyway going to charge the headset only while you’re not using it. What’s interesting in this case as well is the fact, that the battery lasts for about 16 hours and that actually is really good. Corsair claims this can be achieved thanks to a new 2.4 GHz wireless chipset, which is more energy efficient than the previous chipset they’ve been using. On another note it’s interesting to mention that the wireless range is really good as well, covering approximately 15 meters. Unfortunately it’s not possible to pair this headset with your smartphone.

If you want to control the volume you’ll find a slider on the left ear cup. By moving it up and down you either increase or decrease the volume. On top of that this slider also works as a button and by pressing it for about three seconds the Dolby 7.1 mode is activated. Pressing the button quickly allows you to browse the different audio profiles and by pressing the button again you’re selecting a setting. The left ear cup also features a mute button for muting the microphone, that's intuitive to findfor the microphone.

As the name already suggests this version of the Corsair VOID does not only support wireless and Dolby 7.1 there is also RGB lighting. Both ear cups feature a backlit Corsair logo and using Corsair’s CUE Software you can change the color to anything you like and there are also different modes, like breathing, blinking, … Overall we have to say the lighting makes the this headset looks really nice.
