| From a design point of view ASUS did a good job with the P8H67-M EVO. Of course this boards design cannot be compared to a high-end board simply because of the price difference. Generally the mATX formfactor paired up with a Sandy Bridge CPU is a tempting combination. It allows to assemble a very well performing system combined with a small form factor. | - Design

Generally the P8H67-M EVOs layout isn't bad. It is a bit a pity that ASUS decided to equip this board with only two SATA connectors which have been angled by 90 degrees. For SATA ports are straight and if you should be forced to install a graphics card into the second PCI Express x16 slot this will render them useless. Furthremore there is the fact that in this case also the connectors at the boards bottom edge will be covered and therefore also useless. We would really have like to see that the second PCI Express x16 slot was the third expansion slot. In this case the connectors at the bottom edge wont be covered and two out of the four sraight SATA connectors could be used. |

| In general this board is an average performer. There are only two glitches in Wprime where ranks on the last places. Therefore the Sandra memory bandwidth benchmarks as well as the cryptography tests are clear weaknesses of this board. | - Memory Bandwidth - Cryptography |

| If you're thinking about a very well performing desktop PC with a small form factor then the ASUS P8H67-M EVO will be a good choice. It would also be a safe bet if you want to assemble a compact entry level gaming rig. | -
