This BEAST LLS from TGT has definitely been able to convince us. Thanks to the factory overclocking the card is eight percent faster than the reference clocked ones.
The cooling system proved to be very good too, it was noiseless in idle and managed to keep our card cool under heavy load remaining noiseless which is quite an achievement. Furthermore we ike the Accelero Xtreme-like design, since it offers massive cooling performance.
We could blame POV/TGT for using a reference design PCB for such a graphics card but we won't because they equipped all the power stages with component and a custom PCB design would have made the card more expensive than it is already.
Still there are two things we would love they had been done in another way. First of all there is the "bundle", which is almost inexistent. There is only a manual and a driver disc, there isn't even a DVI to VGA adapter. The second thing concerns the memory overclocking. But this is something we criticize other manufacturers too, which offer factory overclocked graphics cards. TGT didn't overclock the memory although it wouldn't have been a big deal increasing the clock speed by 50 MHz. It's not much but it would make perfect sense with such a premium product.

Thanks to the factory overclocking the BEAST LLS is eight percent faster than the reference clocked GTX 680. Although there is a massive overlocking regarding the GPU it's not able to outperform the EVGA card we tested. The reason for that lies within the memory, since EVGA overclocks it and TGT doesn't. Still the factory overclocking on the GPU is everything but shy. Another interesting fact, which is related to the factory overclocking is, that our sample was working with 1'241 MHz all the time. It appeared to not make us of the boost feature. 1'241 MHz means that there is a factory overclocking of 183 MHz over than reference boost clock.
When it comes to the cooler, this was the best one we've ever seen, that comes shipping with a card from the factory. After one hour of FurMark, the highest temperature measured was 61°C with the fans locked at 30 % (noiseless) which is excellent. At 50 % we measured 54°C max but in this case the noise level isn't good anymore. Indeed at 50 % fan speed the cooler was as loud as the reference one. Be careful the cooler takes three slots, make sure you have enough space.
The power consumption was on a good level too. In idle it was drawing 9 Watts less than the DCU II Top. Under load it was consuming 2 Watts more.
