L'OCZ RevoDrive 3 X2 è la scheda PCI Express più veloce che analizzeremo oggi. Secondo i valori dichiarati dal produttore, il throughput sequenziale supera il Gigabyte al secondo e dai nostri test possiamo confermare questi valori. Anche se queste unità sono disponibili da parecchio tempo, attualmente gli SSD con singolo controller non son in grado di raggiungere queste prestazioni. Il RevoDrive 3 X2 può essere utile per coloro che devono gestir carichi di lavoro elevati. Fino ad ora non abbiamo parlato di IOPS: in questo caso dobbiamo dire che sono ad un livello veramente impressionante. Per le letture casuali abbiamo misurato quasi 190'000 IOPS a 4k il che lo rende incredibilmente veloce. Soprattutto in workstation questa scheda di espansione sarà in grado di accelerare i processi.
