Today we are - finally - going to review AVEXIR's second most expensive memory kit. The one we used 80 days ago to break the DDR3 frequency world record. Without liquid nitrogen on it this kit is still one of the fastest kits out of the box. That's right, 16GB of memory rated DDR3-2800 MHz CL12 at 1.65v.
Below you will find the specifiations of the kit we tested.

AVEXIR is a company that seems to have popped up from nowhere. In
fact they were around for some time now as they established in 2006. But they
were in the shadow of other big manufacturers. However since the beginning of
this year they are really pushing and have now a nice spot in the enthusiast
market. Not only because they have some really nice products, AVEXIR also offers
these products at competitive prices.
The
Core series is AVEXIR's high performance memory line. Looking at the specs and the design we can indeed confirm that. Rated
at DDR3-2'800 MHz that's the highest clocked memory out of the box in the market.
Timings aren't the tightest that we have seen at these frequencies but they are tight
enough to offer best performance.
It's not even the fastest kit of their line-up.
AVEXIR also have a DDR3-2800 MHz CL11 kit in their portfolio. Enough talking, let's have
a closer look on the following pages.
