The CoolerMaster CM Storm Sonuz is quite a comfortable gaming headset which comes with good drivers and a good microphone. To be honest, we would have expected more from the audio quality of this headset. Cooler Master has chose to for a setup with a bit an overpronounced bass. Furthermore the mid and high tones are simply too silent. The microphone on the other hand was able to convince. The quality is good and noise cancelling is working fine. We would have loved to see a software in the delivery or on Cooler Masters download page which offers different audio presets. This would make the sound appealing to a wider audience.
In our case it took a few minutes until we felt comfortable with the CM Storm Sonuz. After all the ear pads fit nicely and they suit different head shapes. A big plus is also the fact that the ear pads are flexible. On the other hand there is quite high pressure applied and if you should prefer to play games with 3D shutter glasses on you will feel pressure marks. Generally there are more comfortable headsets for people who wear glasses.
Last but not least we have to say that the Cooler Master Storm Sonuz come
with a very competitive price tag. For 89 Swiss Francs (est. 74 Euros) you can
get this headset. For this amount of money you really get what you pay for and
it's definitely a good choice.
