The Samuel 17 comes well protected from outer influeces, that none of the parts included will be damaged during transportation. Prolimatech seems to have learnt from the past. All new coolers from them also ship with an AMD mounting kit. Therefore the cooler is compatible to both worlds. Prolimatech never includes a fan in delivery. The want to user to choose the right fan for their needs. The Samuel 17 is a low profile cooler and therefore it is most suitable for HTPCs or small form factor desktop PCs.
