Conclusion
Using geizhals as our price research tool we see that offers for a 2x8GB set of DDR3-2133 HyperX currently start at 164 Euros across the EU.
Which is cheaper than anything anything else with a 2133 or 2400 specification. We can't guarantee that Kingston will maintain using the highly overclockable Hynix MFR with the 2133C11 models
but in any case it is a best value for the price at the moment.
Overall, with their new HyperX models Kingston have made a mostly positive impression by keeping with the things that actually work. The only product-related issue we managed to detect was SPD subtiming-caused instability, which can easily be fixed by setting a small portion of the settings manually.
