Conclusion

Looking up the price for via geizhals, we see that offers for this model of LoVos start from 30 Euros across EU. No matter how you look at it, it’s not the best deal you can get as a 2x2GB DDR3L-1600 CL9 set can be had for 22 Euros by the means of Avexir. Outside of the low-voltage segment, it is even possible to get a DDR3-2133 kit on the budget, so it’s hard to see a valid selling point for our Kingstons.

Being an overclockaholic website, overclockability is one important feature. Sadly, on this front the DDR3L-1600 LoVos have failed to make a positive impression. Combined with irrational pricing, it’s hard to think of any application where we could recommend them as the best possible solution or any reason why we would want to give them a high overall score.

Rating

The Kingston HyperX Lovo KHX1600C9D3LK2/4GX kit receives the not so good rating of 2.5 out of five stars.
