The Corsair Vengeance 2000 Wireless is a very comfortable gaming headset which comes with good drivers and a good microphone. The audio quality is therefore on a good level and it's even possible to set the headset up in a linear way. This is always a sign that the manufacturer was using high quality components to build their product. Furhtermore also the microphone was able to convince. The quality is good and noise cancelling is working fine.
Another good thing about the Vengeance 2000 is the wearing comfort. For example because of the ear pieces that can be rotated by 90 degree to the left as well as to the right the headset always fits perfectly. If you're one of the users that is wearing glasses this will be no problem. There wont be any pressure marks even after hours wearing the Vengeance 2000.
Even the software for this headset is well done. To be honest a software for a gaming headset should look exactly like this. It is plain and simple but still it offers everything you might need. A nice addition are the numerous profiles, which are really good and we're sure that almost everybody will find a suitable profile.
Since the G35 from Logitech the Corsair Vengeance 2000 is the first gaming
headset that was able to convince us. At a price of CHF 139 (est. EUR 116.-) it
isn't exactly cheap but you definitely get a good headset for your money.
