Conclusion

It is funny to see that the Catalyst 11.12 WHQL from december 29th was performing as bad as the 11.12 from december 2nd while the one inbetween the so called Catalyst 8.921.2 RC11 from december 19th was as good as the Catalyst 12.x. So let's see what we noticed when testing the system after updating from the Catalyst 11.12 WHQL to the Catalyst 12.2:

So in the end the Catalyst 12.2 did well better than the 11.12 WHQL with an average of 10 % won in gaming performance.
