    OC Genie II OC Genie II can automatically adjust CPU and memory frequency without compromising system stability. Once the user enables OC Genie on MSI's X79 mainboards, the clock rate on a 2nd generation unlocked Intel Core i7 processors will be increased from the default frequency to 4.0GHz.
       
    APS Active Phase Switching, APS, technology is an intelligent design that helps to save energy on MSI’s mainboards. The underlying idea is to switch off the power supply as soon as no electricity is needed, and when the system needs more resources again, APS will automatically adjust electricity supply accordingly. APS will automatically detect your processor's loading at any given time and save energy accordingly.
       
    Direct OC By pressing the +/- buttons, users can instantly adjust the CPU frequency on-the-fly. It allows Direct overclocking to work in any situation without restriction.
